Problem: Chocolate mixture is too thick to toss the noodles
Problem: Nests won't hold their shape and fall apart
Problem: Candy eggs sink into the nest instead of sitting on top
Problem: Noodles are soggy and lose their crunch
Problem: Chocolate seized and became grainy

The easiest Easter dessert you'll ever make — crispy chow mein noodles coated in a creamy milk chocolate and butterscotch mixture, shaped into adorable nests, and topped with colorful candy eggs. 4 ingredients, 6 minutes, and zero baking required.
Prepare the tray
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set it on a flat surface so the nests can hold their shape while setting.
Melt the chocolate mixture
Place the milk chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir well. Continue heating in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the mixture becomes fully melted and smooth.
Coat the noodles
Add the chow mein noodles to the bowl. Use a spoon or spatula to gently toss them in the melted chocolate mixture. Mix until every noodle is coated and glossy.
Scoop the nests
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and place it onto the prepared parchment paper. Leave space between each portion so the nests do not touch.
Shape the nests
Use the back of a spoon to gently shape each mound into a small nest. Press lightly in the center to create a small indent where the eggs will sit.
Add the candy eggs
While the chocolate is still soft, press three candy eggs into the center of each nest. Work quickly so the chocolate does not begin to harden before the eggs are placed.
Let the nests set
Leave the tray at room temperature until the chocolate firms completely. For faster setting, place the tray in the refrigerator for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once firm, the nests are ready to serve.
